Hannah Fenton: M.St. in Psychodynamic Practice, UKCP, MBACP (Accred)


I am accredited by BACP and the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists (UKCP). I have a Masters in Psychodynamic Practice from the University of Oxford (2002). I have worked in private practice since 2005 working with adults and young people and I worked as a counsellor and clinical supervisor at Face2Face Youth Counselling Service for ten years. I was also a counsellor for an NHS counselling service in Oxford for two years. I am experienced in working with children and adolescents as well as adults.

I have been working with children, young people and adults since 2003. I have a diploma in counselling skills from Oxford Brookes University and I am an accredited member of BACP. 

I currently work in schools and in private practice, seeing young people and adults either in person or online. 

Lucy Healey: BSc (hons), Dip Couns, PG Dip, MBACP (Accred)


I am an accredited member of the BACP. I have a BSc in Psychology, a Diploma in Counselling Principles and Practice, and a post-grad Diploma in Psycho-analytical Observation as well as qualifications in supervision and assessment. I have over 20 years' experience working as a counsellor with young people aged six upwards. I currently offer counselling to young people and staff members in both primary and secondary schools, and clinical supervision to qualified therapists and trainees. I have direct experience working with adults and adolescents with mental health needs and learning disabilities from my former work as a support worker with the Mental Health NHS Trust and the Learning Disabilities Trust. I am also in private practice working with adults and young people. 

Sophie Pryal: MA, PG(dip), BA(hons) Child and Family Psychotherapist


I am a child and family psychodynamic psychotherapist, registered with both the BPC and BACP professional associations. My background is in the Arts and working therapeutically in schools. For six years I managed a therapeutic service in a London primary school, ensuring that appropriately targeted interventions were provided to those in need. I currently work as a psychotherapist for an independent fostering agency and therapeutic residential organisation in Buckinghamshire, as well as continued work in a school setting. I am experienced in working with children and adolescents from 4-18 years and within a network around the young person. 

Vincent Tan: MA; M.St.(Psychodynamic Practice) Oxon; MBACP; MUPCA; UKCP(Accred)


I have experience working across a wide range of clinical settings; NHS, university, schools and in private practice following a successful corporate career in strategic planning and operations and as a senior business analyst. I gained a Masters in Psychodynamic Practice (2018) from the University of Oxford and was awarded a distinction for my research on transgender transitioning. I hold membership with BACP, UPCA and UKCP professional bodies. I continue to work in the NHS, schools and in private practice with adolescents and adults on a range of difficulties and complex issues.

Henrietta Ray: BComm (Hons.), PGDip Psychodynamic Practice


Working with anxiety and the varied ways it presents in young people is an area of particular interest to me.  I am a qualified counsellor with a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Practice (University of Oxford).  As a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), I adhere to their standards of good practice. For the past two years, I have volunteered and worked as a school counsellor in multiple school settings.  Alongside my work as a school counsellor, I worked for a community counselling service offering low-cost counselling to adults and young people.  The work in these settings has spanned a broad range of issues.  Prior to training to be a counsellor, I worked in both the corporate and NGO sectors providing a range business and IT consultancy services.

Rebecca Jenkinson: MA (Cantab), PGCE (Oxon), Cert Psychodynamic Studies (Oxon) , BA Person Centred Psychotherapy (Warwick), MBACP (Accred). 


I am accredited member of the BACP and hold qualifications in counselling from the universities of Oxford (2013) and Warwick (2016). I have been working as a counsellor in schools since 2014. I also work with young people and adults in private practice. Before undertaking training as a psychotherapist, I taught science in a large comprehensive school in the county, heading up the psychology department and acting as a tutor for the sixth form.

Melanie Macro: MSt (Oxon; Psychodynamic Practice), BAHons (Lancaster), PGDip (BIMM; Popular Music Performance), MBACP.


I have experience in a variety of clinical settings; schools, community counselling services and specialist clinics; working as a psychotherapeutic counsellor. I also work as a music teacher following a 20-year career as a professional singer. I graduated with distinction from Oxford University with a Masters in Psychodynamic Practice where my research focused on how psychotherapists work with social class. I am currently a school counsellor at Wallingford School (since Sept 2021) and an outpatient support therapist at the Clinic for Dissociative Studies, a national centre of specialist expertise in dissociative disorders (Since Dec 2020). I have a small private practice in Hungerford, Berks and Online. 

Claire Tyrrell-Williams: BSc.; MSc., MST., MBACP, UPCA (Accred)


I am a registered member MBACP of BACP and accredited with UPCA (Universities Psychotherapy & Counselling Association). I have an MST (Distinction) in Psychodynamic Practice from the University of Oxford, as well as a BSC (2:1 Hons) in Psychology from the University of Bath, and an MSc (Distinction) in Social Psychology and Social Research Methods from LSE. I have been counselling since 2017 following a twenty-year career in social and psychologicial research. I currently offer counselling support to young people and staff in local secondary schools around Oxfordshire. I also work with young people and adults in private practice, offering counselling online or in person. 

Heidi Mercer: BA(Hons), CPCAB L4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, MBACP


I am a newly qualified member of the BACP, having completed my training at Banbury Academy and Place2Be in London. I am passionate about working with young people and enhancing their mental health and wellbeing. I am an integrative counsellor, trained in the Gestalt, Person-Centred and Transactional Analysis models. I use whichever approach I feel best suits an individual client, meaning the therapeutic process is tailored for each individual. During my counselling experience so far, I have worked on the school counselling team at Cherwell School in Oxford and also supported clients affected by cancer through the Hummingbird Centre in Bicester.
